PCM Scientific are busy making final preparations to visit a successful take-home naloxone (THN) centre in Barcelona as part of their THN resource kit being launched in 2018.

Team members from PCM Scientific have been conducting interviews at successful local take-home naloxone (THN) programmes that have been set up in Denmark and Scotland, and are now learning about the programme running in Barcelona. By drawing on the experiences of these local programmes, and highlighting their successes, PCM Scientific will be launching an online THN resource kit in 2018 aimed to help anyone who wishes to set up their own local programme.

The IOTOD THN toolkit will provide valuable, tailorable guidance, information and resources on how to set up and run a THN programme anywhere in Europe, in order to reduce overdoses and ultimately save lives.
